Elegance

Round 1 for Miss SDL - Theme: Elegance.
Aundre, actually looking pretty.

Anyhow... I referenced alot of kimonos to come up with an idea for Aundre. In the end I decided to go for something with a bit of a Western Touch to it. As Aundre is Japanese, inside herself she believes that she would simply seem a poser to pretend she can dress as one. I modified the dress to become longer and a bit more silkier in design.

Alot of deliberation actually went into the colour of the kimono, *originally* I was going to make the Kimono white. However in the end I decided that it is a funeral colour in many eastern cultures and it would not be appropriate for this sort of theme. Friends in the SDL chat suggested that a dark blue would be nice as it is an elegant colour and fits well will a brilliant lighting. If I had gone with a straight black it would make the colour look cheap and the black look boring. :3

The moths is sort of a suggestion that Aundre may look feminine like that, but she's lieing! it is more symbolic then literal as the picture can be in any time/place/ect. D: Her womanly side is a rather dark ambivalent side, which is why she is so outwardly manly.
